Every ranking is recomputed from the dataset each time it is rebuilt (last build 2026-09-07). Counts cover the people on the public page for each date. Wealth uses the low bound of dated estimates from Forbes, Bloomberg, the Sunday Times Rich List, Hurun or filings. Ties share a rank. Dates we have not filled in enough to index still count in the totals, so a date low on a list may simply be one we have covered less. Full methodology.
