About Born On Your Day

Born On Your Day shows the notable people who share a birthday: founders, billionaires, scientists, athletes, artists and historical figures, with their careers, dated milestones and, where one has been reported, a dated wealth estimate. It exists because a birthday is a surprisingly good way into other people's lives. It is not a horoscope, and it makes no claim about you.

Who runs it

The site is operated by Buy More UÜ, a company registered in Estonia. You can reach us at support@bornonyourday.com. There are no named writers or editors behind the pages, because the pages are not written by hand.

How it is made

The site is built automatically from public records. People, birth dates, companies, awards and other dated milestones come from Wikidata. Short descriptions are the opening lines of each person's English Wikipedia article, credited to it. Photos come from Wikimedia Commons with their licence and credit. Wealth figures are estimates published by Forbes, Bloomberg, the Sunday Times Rich List or Hurun, as recorded on Wikidata or cited in the person's Wikipedia article.

The sentences on each page are generated from templates: a sentence appears only when the records behind it exist, and its numbers are computed from them. No AI model writes biographies or creates any person, figure or fact. Figures are not checked one by one by a person; they are accepted or rejected by automatic rules, and anything that fails a rule is left out rather than guessed. Every wealth figure shows who published it and when. The data is refreshed automatically about once a month, so it can lag the news. The methodology lists the rules.

If something about a person is wrong, email support@bornonyourday.com with the page address and, if you can, a source.

Because every fact comes from a public record, the most lasting fix is a correction on Wikidata or Wikipedia itself, with a source; the next monthly refresh picks it up here.

Wikidata's data is public domain (CC0). Text adapted from Wikipedia is used under CC BY-SA 4.0 and linked to its article. Photos carry their own Commons licence and credit.
