Uzeyir bey Abdulhuseyn bey oghlu Hajibeyov was an Azerbaijani composer, musicologist, and teacher. He is recognized as the father of Azerbaijani classical music. He composed the music of the national anthem of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.
